On April 22, 320 cases of dark tea were delivered for export after passing through the inspection at the Changsha Customs. This was Hunan’s first batch of exported dark tea this year. In the first quarter, Hunan had exported 11,300 tons of tea, making a 37% increase over last year.

Tea is an important agricultural specialty for export in Hunan Province. There are 36 plantations and 82 registered enterprises for tea export around the province. The Changsha Customs has given priority to fostering the competitiveness of Hunan tea. Measures have been taken to enhance origin-tracing management, and security and quality control in the planting, processing, logistics, and storage links. These efforts would help improve quality and expand export of Hunan tea.

The Changsha Customs rolled out a “one-to-one” coordinator mechanism for important tea enterprises, and provides them with latest customized export information every month. The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) authorization of the Customs helped improve the customs clearance efficiency of exports, which has been recognized and trusted by foreign clients, said a manager of the Hunan Tea Group, Hunan’s only customs-authorized tea exporter.

The Changsha Customs also worked to expand exports to Central Asia, North Africa, and the countries along the Belt and Road by means of various channels such as the China-Europe Freight Trains. More than 60% of Hunan’s exported tea are delivered to the countries along the Belt and Road. As the China-Africa economic and trade cooperation deepens, tea export to African countries surged, said a manager of a tea company. This year, the company’s tea export to Morocco increase by four times year on year. Tea farmers’ incomes have grown.

4月22日，经长沙海关检验合格，安化白沙溪茶厂生产的320件黑茶启运出口。这是湖南今年首批出口的黑茶。一季度，全省出口茶叶1.13万吨，同比增长37%。

茶叶是湖南重要的特色出口农产品，目前全省有出口茶叶种植基地36家，出口茶叶备案企业82家。长沙海关着力培育湘茶出口竞争优势，从源头强化出口茶叶溯源管理，在种植、加工、物流、仓储等环节加强食品安全质量管控，推动湘茶提升品质，扩大出口。

湖南省茶业集团是湖南唯一一家海关高级认证茶叶出口企业，公司负责人表示，海关AEO资质使得公司出口产品通关效率大幅提升，赢得了更多国外优质客户的信赖。据介绍，长沙海关对重点茶企实行企业协调员制度，每月“一对一”通报最新出口资讯。

长沙海关支持企业通过中欧班列等渠道，扩大对中亚、北非等“一带一路”沿线国家出口。据悉，目前对“一带一路”沿线国家出口已占湖南茶叶出口的60%以上。湖南鸿大茶叶有限公司负责人介绍，随着中非经贸合作持续深入，公司输非茶叶快速增长，今年以来对摩洛哥的茶叶出口同比增长4倍，带动种植基地茶农增收。
